Absolut isn’t one to steer clear of bottles for a cause. In June 2017, the Swedish vodka brand launched a rainbow bottle with no labels to show love for self-expression and to support the LBGT+ community.
Now, Pernod Ricard, premium spirits and wine company and owners of Absolut are striving to make America beautiful again, in more ways than one.
Featuring the iconic colors of red, white and blue in painted stripes, the Absolut America bottle is the ideal, aesthetically pleasing spirit for your summer cookouts and Bloody Mary brunches, signifying the importance of community.
“Absolut has always embraced the magic of mixing – from cocktails to communities,” said Shefali Murdia, brand director at Absolut, Pernod Ricard USA.
Outside of aesthetics, there’s a great mission at hand. Between May 1 and September 3, Absolut will donate $1 to Keep America Beautiful, a non-profit organization with the country’s largest cleanup program. All you have to do is is purchase a bottle, take a photo of you and your crew having a radical time and then post it with the #AbsolutAmerica.
Not only are you donating to a cause that supports an estimated 60,000 volunteer events, but you’re bringing together a handful of individuals for good old-fashioned fun.
If you care to add more American flair to your beverage, try your hand at the Absolut Firework, which is 1 ½ parts Absolut, 2 parts lemonade and 2 parts iced team. Basically, an adult Arnold Palmer, minus the Roman candles.
