Chanel is officially launching into the men’s makeup stratosphere with the revolutionary line Boy De Chanel.

Inspired by designer Gabrielle Chanel’s lover and muse, Boy Capel, the line includes three products: a foundation, Le Teint Foundation; a retractable brow pencil, Stylo Sourcils; and a hydrating lip balm, Le Baume Levres.

These products are slated to hit the South Korean market on September 1, as it has the highest demand for makeup routines for men, followed by Chanel’s website in November and in boutique stores throughout the U.S. in January 2019.

“For Chanel, beauty is not a matter of gender; it is a matter of style. This new range allows men in their beauty routines to have the tools necessary to feel better about themselves. Moreover, men should be free to use makeup products to correct their appearance, without calling into question their masculinity,” says Kirstine Kim, Communications Manager for Chanel in Korea.

Beauty has no gender, and neither does makeup, as beauty vloggers and Instagram influencers Manny MUA, Patrick Starr, James Charles and Zachary Edward have been slaying the game, rocking everything from Mac Cosmetics to Anastasia Beverly Hills and Fenty Beauty.

Nonetheless, Chanel’s newest line is groundbreaking and delivers a few more essential pieces for you to add to your collection.
